ICO registration: Tacatech Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC205697.
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you ("you", the creator) and Tacatech Ltd ("Taca", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Taca platform.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement (DPA), and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). If there is any conflict between these documents, the order of precedence is: the DPA, these Terms, the AUP, and then the Privacy Policy.
By creating a Taca account or connecting your Fanvue account, you agree to these Terms. Taca is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Fanvue.
You must be 18+, own the Fanvue account you connect, and follow the law and
Fanvue's own rules. We can suspend accounts that lie about this. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Taca is lawful where you live.
Keep your login safe - you're responsible for what happens under your account. One
account per person or business; don't share or resell it.
Taca connects to your Fanvue account (through Fanvue's OAuth, using only the
permissions you approve) to help you read your inbox, draft replies, organise and price
your vault, and - if you turn it on - automate sending. Everything sent from your
account is your responsibility.
Image generation (the "Studio") is switched off. Taca includes an optional Studio that
can train a character model and generate images, but it ships disabled and is off in
production. While it is off, Taca does not ask for, collect, store, generate or train on
photographs of your face or body. Turning it on is an opt-in feature that will be announced
in advance, and these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before it is switched
on.
What we store. To run the service we store your account and settings, your persona and
voice settings, records of your vault (titles, tags, prices - not the media files
themselves), your per-fan notes and settings, your custom folders and shot presets, your
credit ledger, and a log of the messages Taca drafted, sent or blocked. That log can include
a fan's display name and the draft/message text; its content is redacted after 90 days and
the whole log is deleted when you delete your account. We also keep a secondary, rebuildable
metadata cache and an account mirror in a second database (see the Privacy Policy). You can
export or permanently delete all of it at any time.
before sending where it matters.
Taca can send messages without you clicking each time, following your rules - and
you're responsible for what it sends.
illegal content, and anything risky is held for you. It's a safety net, not a guarantee.
to be human. If Fanvue requires an AI-Creator designation on your profile for the
way you use it, carrying that designation is your responsibility.
in your vault and that everyone shown is 18 or over.
anyone.
Use covered by the AUP. You let Taca act for you on Fanvue within the permissions
you approve. Don't use it unlawfully or to get around Fanvue's moderation. You agree
to cover us for claims caused by your misuse or content you approved.
payment, tax, and refunds** - your purchase is also subject to Fanvue's terms.
pricing page. Plan credits (the monthly allowance included with your subscription)
reset each billing cycle - they are use-it-or-lose-it and do not roll over. **Purchased
credits (Credit Bank top-ups you buy separately) do not expire and are not**
reset; they sit on top of your plan allowance and are shared across your connected
accounts. Free credits (if any) are a bonus we give at our discretion. We may apply
fair-use limits to keep the service stable.
bought, renewed and cancelled inside Fanvue, and **we never see or store your card
details.** There is no other way to pay us, and we will never ask you to pay us
anywhere else - if anything claiming to be Taca asks you to, it isn't us.
the period you've already paid for; we don't cut you off early.
Terms: we may remove the access that payment bought. Please talk to us first - a
genuine problem is easier to fix than a dispute.
OpenAI/Anthropic key. We don't, because those providers' policies prohibit the
content this tool exists to help you write - using them would put your account at
risk, not ours.
We own the Taca software. You own your content and data. We may use anonymous,
aggregated stats to run and improve the service, and any feedback you give us.
"Help improve Taca." Separately from the stats above, Taca offers a setting called
"Help improve Taca," shown before you connect your Fanvue account (and available any
time after in Settings), on by default with an immediately available off switch. When
on, eligible material you personally wrote as a creator may be used to review and
improve how Taca's replies are written across the product - this can include eligible
past conversations reachable through your connected Fanvue account, not only messages
sent after you turn this setting on. This is not model training in the sense of
fine-tuning an AI model on your data - it means your own material may be reviewed (by
us, or by a system we run) to refine the fixed set of behavioural rules and reference
material Taca's replies draw on. Turning this setting off (or leaving it off) stops
that use of your material and deletes what had already been captured for it; it never
changes how Taca works for you, and never affects your fans' own messages, which are
not used for this cross-creator purpose regardless of this setting. See the Privacy
Policy for the full description.
Taca is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law
allows, we're not liable for indirect or knock-on losses, lost earnings, or content
you chose to send. Our total liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing here removes
liability that can't legally be removed.
You can stop and disconnect Fanvue anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that
break these Terms or the AUP, or that put creators or fans at risk.
Taca depends on the third-party services below. We don't control their uptime,
pricing, or moderation, and **we
don't guarantee** uninterrupted Fanvue sync, API availability, delivery of messages,
or accurate/timely stats - these can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or down.
We may update these Terms; we'll flag material changes in-app. Keep using Taca =
you accept the update.
| Service | Used for | Data it may see |
|---|---|---|
| Fanvue | Your account, inbox, fans, media, earnings | Everything you connect via OAuth |
| OpenRouter | Default provider for inbox fan-reply drafts (routed to an uncensored open-weight model, currently Hermes) | Fan message text, persona settings, conversation history (text only) |
| Venice AI | Default provider for check-in drafts, persona voice drafts, and persona feedback; fallback for inbox fan-reply drafts specifically if OpenRouter is down; captioning a vault image you ask us to caption | Fan message text, persona settings, conversation history, the vault image being captioned |
| Supabase | Secondary database: account mirror + rebuildable metadata cache | Your email + account details; fan/conversation/message metadata (no message text, media or tokens) |
| Fly.io | Running the app + main database (London) | Everything stored by the app |
We only send what a feature needs. We do not fine-tune or train underlying AI models
on your or your fans' data, and we do not sell it. See section 8 for the separate, narrower
"Help improve Taca" setting, which is not model fine-tuning either.
We do not offer bring-your-own-key, and we never ask you for an API key. Some
competitors let you plug in your own OpenAI or Anthropic key; we don't, because those
providers' policies prohibit the content this tool exists to help you write - using them
would put your account at risk. See section 7.
Governed by the laws of England & Wales; its courts handle disputes.
